On Saturday Sept 10th, Kern County Youth Program started it's 2011 season. We had approx.35 juniors sign up to shoot .Unfortunately the weather and a power outage prevented them from shooting. Nevertheless our new program chairman, Dan Shuford, assisted by instructor Bruce Binns gave all participants an hour gun handling and safety seminar. Also we are in need of youth guns preferably 20ga and down. They may be loaned or donated to the program, contact Frank Buoni 661 201 6700 .
